IMPORTANT: Shutdown Complete
As noted in the letter that went to all customers in December (below), Web Image Solutions has completed the shutdown of its servers. If you have not yet done so, please follow the instructions below to set up a new hosting account and transfer your site to another provider. Our phone lines have also been shut down; if you need a copy of your website files or if you require further assistance, please send an email to info@webimagesolutions.com or send a fax to 866.371.8095. This email address and fax number will be available until February 27, 2009.
IMPORTANT: Notice to All Customers
We regret to inform you that as of January 23, 2009 Web Image Solutions will be realigning its business and will discontinue web hosting services. The current state of the economy has impacted all of us and unfortunately we are no longer able to provide you with the services you require.
Our web and email servers will be shut down on January 23, 2009. In order to keep your website online without interruption, it’s important that you take action immediately to transfer your site to another hosting provider.
To transfer your site to another provider
1) Select new hosting provider. There are many companies that offer web hosting services; a couple of options are noted below. Go Daddy is a well known national company that is very inexpensive. If you prefer a provider more local to your area, American Computer Technologies or New Bedford Internet are a couple of alternatives. When you have decided on a provider, contact the company to set up an account. Many companies will allow you to do this online or you may call them directly.
2) Transfer site to new hosting provider. Many companies will allow you to initiate your domain transfer online or you may contact their technical support for assistance with this process.
3) Authorization Code/Password. At some point during the transfer, you will be asked for an authorization code/password for the site. All customers have been mailed / emailed / faxed a letter with their authorization code. Please check your letter for this code (it will be noted in red).
4) Check your email. Be sure to keep an eye on your email. Once you have initiated the transfer, you will receive an email asking for your approval.
